Being located in Maui, the Ferrari is constantly exposed to environmental elements like UV rays, salty air, and moisture, all of which can degrade the paint over time. Given that the 488 Pista is a high-performance car with a lot of intricate curves, carbon fiber accents, and aggressive body lines, it requires a ceramic coating that not only protects but also enhances its natural aesthetics.

The Process

Our process for applying Modesta ceramic coating is meticulous, ensuring that the car is properly prepped and the product is applied perfectly.

1. Initial Inspection and WashWe began by inspecting the Ferrari’s paint for any imperfections. After inspection, the car underwent a thorough wash using pH-neutral soap to remove dirt and oils from the surface.
2. Paint CorrectionPaint correction is a critical step before applying any ceramic coating. On this Ferrari, we used a multi-step polishing process to eliminate minor swirls and scratches, ensuring that the paint was flawless before the ceramic coating application. 4. Curing ProcessAfter application, the coating needs time to cure. We allowed the Ferrari to sit in a controlled environment to ensure that the Modesta coating could fully bond with the paint, forming a hard, protective shell.
5. Final Inspection and RevealAfter the curing process, we conducted a final inspection of the vehicle. The Ferrari’s paint now had a deep, reflective gloss that brought out the rich contrast between the black and red racing stripes.
